Aries Traits. The people born under the Zodiac Sign Aries are curious, energetic,upbeat and enthusiastic personality, who want to initiate and make things happen rather than being mere spectators. The need for excitement push them into new territories and makes them extremely action-oriented.
Well I’m not that in to astrology but I found the description interesting regardless. Aries is my first foray into the K Shave Worx product line. Aries is described as a blend of cedar-wood, amber, tobacco, leafy citrus greens, Wood violets and Persian Rose. The main notes are cedar, amber and tobacco. They are definitely of the forefront on this scent. It is a clean and masculine scent. I quite enjoyed it.
The soap base itself, it is a vegan base, very firm. I found it loaded quite easily. Slickness was OK both lathered and residual. Post shave was quite nice. I wouldn’t put this up with some of the elite vegan bases out there but it will give you a nice shave. Scent strength is medium. I did find I got just the slightest reaction to the soap, nothing that would keep me from using it but for my skin it was noticeable.
The aftershave splash was a really nice match. It is a witch hazel base so there was no burn. I didnt find it tacky or sticky at all and it absorbed reasonably well. No tingle or irritation from the splash at all.
Paired up with the Karve today I was able to get a BBS shave. I think I’m going to have to keep my eye on this artisan in the future. Just looking at the offerings and I see a few that could make it’s way into my den.
