Razor: Boker King Cutter 5/8, Gillette Fatboy on 2
Blade: Gillette Rubie
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Uncle Jon’s Gravity
Aftershave: Thayers Lemon Witch Hazel, RazoRock Emperor

I’m exhausted today. I think I have played 9 ball games in the last 3 days. Today, I’m lucky to have a day off before I’m at it again tomorrow. Since I had a bit of time today, I grabbed a straight to give it a go. After a few quick strokes I knew today was not the day to be learning the straight. A little too much sun yesterday and the skin just wasn’t having it. Next up was my new (new to me anyways) Gillette Fatboy. I grabbed the nearest Gillette blade I had, set the razor on a mild 2, and went to work.

I grabbed the Uncle Jon’s gravity soap today. Something about this soap just screams hot vacation to me. Notes of Crisp Alpine Air, Mandarin, Cardamom, Vetiver, Suede, Vanilla, and Teakwood. I know I’ve mentioned this before but to me, this is the scent you clothes have after a vacation at the ocean. It always takes me to a hot vacation spot. Soap wise, I found the performance to be average, slickness and cushion are OK but don’t blow me away. Lathering was a fairly easy task.

For post shave, since my skin was a bit sensitive today I grabbed a sample of Thayers witch hazel I recently received. It definitely made for a pleasant post shave, but the scent wasn’t really my thing. I do think I will add some to the den though. And then I finished up with a splash for Emperor to smell like a boss.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
