Left the house smelling like a boss, came home a champ 🙂 Last night was the annual Business Excellence awards #wmbexa2018 for our local Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce. Along with being a fantastic potter that makes our lather bowls, my wife is also a wonderful professional photographer and graphic designer. I also help a bit, working on the technology side of things, and we offer a few additional services like web design and hosting. Her business, Finelite Photography & Design, was up for the Customer Service Award (3rd year in a row).
I wanted to head to the awards dinner (black tie) smelling like a boss so I pulled this favourite of mine, RazoRock Tuscan Oud. RazoRock makes a nice budget friendly product line that doesn’t always wow me, but this one does for sure. Performance was good, not great but scent strength is on point. It pairs quite closely with Tom Ford Tobacco Oud. As such, I layered up with my dup from Oil Perfumery. Boss status achieved.
This year was our lucky year. I say lucky because a bit of luck must have been on our side, the competition was fantastic. It is awesome to just be in the same category with the amazing businesses we were up against. Today I’m a proud husband, and out son is super happy to have his own Piston Cup in the house (Watch the movie Cars if you don’t know the reference).
