Father/Son shave day.  My little guy, Cole, decided he wanted to give shaving a go today.  At 5 he didnt have much growth to clean up so we went with no blade for him.  He picked his own gear.  He chose the Ming Shi for its size and weight.  For soap, he chose the Peppermint Orange because it smelled like candy.  It lathered up great in the Thirsty Badger lather bowl and the Yaqi bush he chose.  It was super soft, an easy choice.  A quick 1 pass shave and we followed it up with the Bonsai balm.  It smelled like green.  I cant argue with that choice.

As for Dad, he chose my gear as well.  He picked up my newest soap, Van Der Lovett Sailor’s Blend.  It has a nice fresh ocean vibe.  Subtle but really nice.  For my razor he picked the Gillette Tech, a fantastic choice, especially when paired with my Astra Green blades.  A got a great lather with my prototype travel badger.  A quick 2.5ish pass for a perfectly acceptable shave.  Dad picked the Fine Platinum splash to finish, smelling like a boss.
